Here is a better view of the background for the first scene…

Just a little more progress here. Animation frames are not even colored yet but barely getting a scene done…

What software are you using to make your animations? I have used. Flash in the past but I am sure there is something more lightweight and practical out there! Your work is beautiful.

Hey, I use Adobe After Effects to put all the frames together but everything you see in my blog is hand drawn and painted traditionally. :-) so yes lots of paintings involved. hope it answered your question~ and thank you so much for the positive words it’s so encouraging~

Would it be alright if I wrote an ekphrasis on your painting Coffee Plant? I always put down who painted the painting and some information about it whenever I write one. Also, if you're alright with that then could you also give me some background information on the painting?

Hi smoothingsand, yes! Please! I appreciate it. I also appreciate you asking. Hey about the painting, coffees too me, are ‘waiting.’ waiting with stories, sometimes boredom… As a result, there are lots of thoughts and imaginations around the coffee tables. I hope this explains! Oh for this particular painting, I was looking at a beautiful flower out the window while drinking coffee waiting for my 1 yr old baby to wake up… well, wasn’t truly looking forward to my son waking up too early then that meant less time for painting haha. Anyways, hope it answered your question!
